Someone who improved as an adult has written a book about how he achieved his improvement, so his experience must be very useful to you. He explains his training methods and helps you by saying how to do the same. I found his book on 2 websites, click if you want to see it here or read some pages here.

According to what he says inside you need a good book for tactics like this or software for tactics like this .

General advicwe for improvement according to your level can be found here https://chesslessonsfree.com/improvement-in-chess-according-to-elo/.

There is also a quick guide for improvement here

If you are serious about wanting to be a chess professional the first thing you should do is move to Europe, where there is far more "opportunity" of becoming one. After you have done that you will have to work very hard on chess, and even with the hard work if you dont have talent for chess you are not likely to become IM or GM. I dont think everyone who wants to be IM or GM can do it, in fact very few can it seems.

This is the worst advice I’ve seen. First thing is to move continent and only then work hard to get good?? I would say put in the hard work, get stronger and only then look to gain rating where the tournaments are. It’s straight up crazy to move to Europe on the offchance you might end up in the top few percent of players.
