I think it means the person who came up with it, and the community/society that incorporated and preserved it, posessed and were expressing an egalitarian sentiment. I don't know how or why you inserted God into it.

Sorry. I didn't realise God was banned. I made no mention of religion.
I liked it so much I felt I had to share it. Does this mean that God is an egalitarian? I guess it does, if he fashioned us all -- the high and mighty -- and the lowly. We're ALL needed.
