Analyze this weird game please! :)

Here's a rapid game (15+1) that I just played. I have no idea how to play against this opening.

It was against a player very underrated, probably due to his/her many many connection issues during the game. I'd imagine this player loses many games due to connection, keeping the rating low.

I decided to sacrifice my queen at one point - not sure if that was right or not, but I liked the way the positions looked after.

Anyways, here's the game -

I have seen queen sacrifices like yours in similar lines but you didn't get quite enough for it.

Easier, especially in a rapid game, is to just play d3 instead of d4 and sit on your extra pawn.

I thought the same thing about d3. I saw an interesting youtube video a long time ago from some GM about not being afraid of playing with a small center like that so long as your minors have squares. An advantage is flexibility / sometimes no targets for your opponent / center is more open for bishops.

For the sac (although it's equal on the raw material count) you have development and black's king is loose, so it definitely looks worth considering. I don't know how good / bad it was, but that's a fun way to play.
