Carlsen 12-0
Anand-Carlsen WC Match
Carlson has qualified. Some how. Anand's resilience is unmeasurable and Carlson's hopeless positions in atlesat 6 of the games, vouch for his lapse in preparation. No doubt Carlson will have to wait a couple of years before he can lay his hands on the WC Crown. Anand is simply too strong for him, especially in match play. The stumbles Carl has portrayed in a tournament is a clear litmus test to show he is just a kid learning the Rhymes of match play.
Carlsen will probably win. But it does not take anything away from Vishy.
It`s just the way the world works, always comes new generations etc. And anyway you can`t be champion forever. For me Anand is a great Champion, He won Kramnik, One of the hardest guy to win (Kasparov didn`t win single game in 2000), and defended his title many year`s. But most importantly, i always liked his style. In my opinion, He was one of the most brilliant attacking players of last decade. Very seldomly boring. For me it`s pretty much the same who wins, just hoping there will be some good games..

He's presently "stumbling" along at nearly 100 Elo points higher than Vishy.
Yes, of course tournament play is not match play, but if we look at how the decisive games between them are going over time:
Carlsen lost games to Anand in years 2005, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011.
Anand lost to games Carlsen in years 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013.
It's pretty clear which way the trend's going, and approximately when the tide turned.
Interesting, incidentally, is to look sometimes at the odds bookies are giving given outcomes, since the money that stands to be made or lost by them is considerable, they do their research and calculations quite fastidiously. Here's just one such example, of course there are plenty more:

Hahahahaha.. very funny.. I understand that all of us like Vishy but at most you should say this is going to be an equal fight..
I think that Carlsen is the most likely to win, but it will be very close. Elo is not really significant in a match, see Anand Guelfand for example
Carlsen is playing in St Louis this week, I believe for his only tournament before the match. They have a autograph photo session later today (Sunday) and the tournament starts Monday. It is a day's drive for me so I arranged a place to stay and time off work so I could go meet the legend in the making. As soon as I had finalized everything, I broke my foot. I wanted to still make the trip but doing normal things at home are enough of a challenge right now. Instead of getting his autograph and a new facebook photo with the future champ, I get to watch the tournament online again. That's fun too.

What is your prediction between these two in a 12 game match and what odds would you give?
I'd say Carlsen 6.5-5.5 and I'd give 3/2
I think it will be much closer than most people probably think. Especially with the way Anand is suddenly playing.
