I admire his game. He may do whatever he wants , he is a part of chess history and he doesn't need to prove anything. For those who say he has grown old - don't forget Victor Korchnoi crushing young GMs at his seventies!
Anand's future??
I know this will never happen, but I think that for the next candidates cycle, neither Anand or Kramnik should be one of the tournament participants, because they would play a match of their own against one another, and the winner of their match would play a match against the winner of the candidates tournament. Â This would be a way of honoring "the old guard", and giving everybody some important match practice, before the eventual match.
I also hope Anand reclaims the Title someday. But if he doesn't, he can always open a dirty convenient store. Apu will be ok.
Snookslayer r u mad??
