Hikaru is having too much fun beating up on people with the Bongcloud. 
And it sure is fun to watch, too!
But he's also 2900 FIDE. Literally the strongest human on the planet, when it comes to playing blitz. So that's worth keeping in mind.
If I gave a Kung Fu master a pair of spaghetti tongs to fight with, he'd probably wreck people with it. But that doesn't mean that spaghetti tongs are the best weapon in the world.
