Almost infinitely. I can hardly see the board a bit into the middlegame.

It's not possible for beginners probs. I play blindfold with my bro when traveling and I hate it. I always forget where the pawns are.
My husband recently blindfolded me and made me remember the square names and visualise it, havent played in that way though, that might be a little too difficult for me!

@Anusua_90 There is a chess variant called Blindfold Chess ( https://chess.com/variants/blindfold ) that you can try out. There is no pieces on the board, you have to imagine them, and play on the game.
