Anyone know if this position has a name?
Any opening setup with this
Is called the "I'm new at chess and don't know what I'm doing"
this is not necessarily true. this is actually an ok formation vs 1.b6
from this position I actually destroyed the computer, not sure what to make of it since it wasn't a player, but the computer was playing so conservative i figured I would see what happens
This setup is reminiscent of a Paul Morphy game, although there it was played against the French rather than against the Caro-Kann Defence. ( see the sites collection, https://www.chess.com/games/view/620 ); so if you want to play in this manner perhaps look there for when to consider this - and for some middle game ideas ( it is also covered on the SLCC YT - under 'Paul Morphy is not strong: A refutation' ). Hope that helps.

That's probably true.
If I get to make 5 moves in a row after 1.e4 b6 (all that crap plus e4 and d4) my position should be very good.
I'm playing around against the pc just trying stuff and this is something I ended up doing
