Sometimes I whine:
Are you a winner or a whiner in chess?

False dichotomy, what if somebody is observant?
huh? your comment makes as much sense as saying 'comparing apples and oranges is a false dichotomy, what about honeydew melon??'

they all would make a wondeful fruit salad. you are making me hungry.

bullet nine says "A whiner disagrees to get attention" but bullet eleven says "But a winner is focused on winning attention". Sounds like attention is being shown to only be good if it is won honorably but as the late author Oscar Wilde once said, “There is only one thing in the world worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about.”

No one likes a whiner. But, what if you don't really care that much about winning? Is there room in the world for those folks? I just like to play a good game.

One of the clearest attitude choices that you have is choosing whether to be a whiner or a winner.
It’s a choice that happens every few seconds of your life. The choice you might take for granted.
But it’s wildly important to your long-term success.
Whiners and winners look at the same opportunity from two different perspectives.
It really all comes down to a simple understanding of how important it is what you think about.
Attitude is everything.
It’s a part of every decision that you make each second of the day.
You can choose to whine or or you can choose to win.
