What I am seeing is the 1200 border starts to get serious and I am excluding the provisional ratings.

I am an easy 1600 on another site but on chess.com, I do all my studies and take my time.

The Chess.com Explorer is a great tool for all levels. I started at 1400 and it has taken me much time to get to 1700 + or - where I am now. When you are playing against opponents around the world you find many people that are stronger than yourself and it makes me play stronger. I always play 50 + and or 50- to stay close to rating. Keep on studying it does make a difference. Much success!

Usually I jump in skill level, it doesn't increase gradually. Though I haven't done much focus studying...

Hi @orjanbre, chess.com, in my opinion, has a vast knowledge of expert advice and tools at the tip of your hands. You need to use the Explorer, Key Moments, and Analyzer. I guarantee that your games will improve. Personally, I haven't studied any books in years as they can all be found within these tools in all different types of lessons and excercises. For me, it's so much easier to study online. I have even used the lessons found online at chess.com with my chess club. Give them a try and study. Use the Key Moments tool with every game. Go back to old games and study them. I will even play you unrated games if you want to learn. I am willing to help anyone below 1650 improve their games. Let me know.

Also, @orjanbre, I forgot about the puzzles. Play the puzzles and study them on here every single day. These will also improve your games. They will push to anaylze more and more. You got this!
