This is the one-hundred eighty fourth round of a chessbot series. We have 2 Bots competing. We will do one game a day until there is just 1 player left. These will be uploaded at around 9PM EST Daily. Also, the bottom 2 players that aren't tied with people outside of the bottom 2 will be eliminated.

Extra feature: Predict the result of the next game! At the end of posts put this point I will show the 2 players for the next game so that you can vote on who you think will win by using the 1-0, 1/2-1/2 or 0-1 emojis! The people with the most points and people with the most accurate votes (people with 5 or higher votes will be prioritized and people with less will get a (?) next to the accuracy,) (if there is a tie if accuracy, the person with the most points is prioritized and the other way around). will be put on a leaderboard. The full list will be on the spreadsheet linked below. I will be voting too so you can see if you are beating me or not! (if you vote multiple times, only your first vote will be counted.)

I have to introduce a new rule just for this chess series. The 100 move rule. If both sides have been playing for 100 moves and neither side has won, drew, or lost, the game is automatically a draw. This is to prevent games taking too long.

A-Z (Plays White): Sorts the moves alphabetically, then picks the first item in the list.

Worst Popular (Plays Black): Gets the lichess database, finds the position, and then picks the move with the lowest win rate for itself. If the position is not in the database, play a random move.

White to play, Win a rook & bishop, Difficulty 1/10

Black to play, M1, Difficulty 1/10
White to play, Win a queen, Difficulty 1/10

The next game will be Gifter vs High Elo. Let me explain what both of the bots are.

Gifter (Plays White): Hangs as many pieces as possible.

High Elo (Plays Black): Gets the lichess database, finds the position, and then picks the move with the highest average Elo for players the played that move. If the position is not in the database, play a random move.

Comment 1-0 if you think Gifter will win, 1/2-1/2 if you think Gifter and High Elo will draw, and 0-1 if you think High Elo will win.
