Which of these catagories do you  think provides the best deal? platinum gives you over 10x as many computer anyalisis' as gold, yet doesn't have chess mentor.

best deal? the best deal is UNLIMITED EVERYTHING on chess.com for about $0.25 cents a day.

you can study chess every single day for HOURS on our site in a year and never get through every video, chess mentor lesson, article, tactic, computer workout... not to mention game analysis, etc.

there are thousands of hours of instruction available on the site. for easy match, let's say there are 1,000 hours of instruction. you're looking at $0.10 cents per hour of high quality instruction. the average chess book probably provides 10 hours of instruction? that's $1-3 per hour. a low-end trainer is $30/hr. a top trainer is $80-100 per hour.

if $0.10 per hour isn't the best deal on the planet, i don't know what is :D

Agreed. Diamond really is the way to go, if only for Chess Mentor.

yah, I guess if you're going to spend any money at all you might as well get it all.

Diamond would be a #1 choice.. unlimited videos (well the only deal that lets you view videos) and chess mentor.. and alot of analysis..

Platinum, Unlimited tactics trainer, tournaments, about unlimited everythng except analysis, chess mentor and video..

Gold, gives alot more then basic, but nothings unlimited..

I can read a novel in that time, but chess books are more like quantum physics textbooks... hundreds of hours needed...

I chose diamond because, as a begginer, I wanted unlimited lessosns on Chess Mentor.

The videos are great as well, but to be honest, there are thousands if incredible free videos on Youtube. The computer analysis of my games is also incredible!
