My son has a friend staying over tonight. My wife's friend's son. He's a gentle boy and always welcome. I'm delighted for my son that he's here.

I recall thinking I love and I see this love am I the love or the observer? But with the view I am nature I'm both these things and that's about right I feel.

I know there are some living creatures without the propensity to love. If they meditated would they experience themselves as love too? I'm not sure.

Perhaps ironically the answer in respect of the god / nature debate is that in the end they equal the same thing.
God / nature is eternal, unconditional, absolute, perfect love.
