I wondered if I was kind and accepting if maybe the bullies would become friendly but Kay after three years hides everything and continually attacks. People have their issues I guess and I'm not about to resolve that.

I'm curious Scott have you got a clear idea in your mind as to what you see as right and wrong and are you able to behave in a way you consider right?
Also do you believe you hurt people and if so do you want to or do you want to stop or don't you mind either way?

That said I don't want to hurt anyone. I think that's our healthy position.
Contemplating, the 'whys-and-wherefores' of 'marrying', {or one hoping to}, a 'young girl' ..Even, if hypothetical - With, All-due-respect, is a POOR starting point, for finding out, 'God's will, for one's Own life !
