Going for a draw in a winning position (clear pawn up and much better placed pieces) isn't the smartest of choices.
i am referring to the berlin line @pfren but yes i blew this game away, didnt feel much about it afterwards and just kept on playing as it was subtle with me just trading rooks
i kept seeing be5 and then regretted not playing it earlier in the game

he is a IM and most of the chess community which involves higher rated or elite players from 2000+ are pretty elitist or pessimistic from my perspective. if you lose a game, you would either rage be disappointed or simply cry and just lose motivation. his grumpiness in your words doesnt really affect anyone or anything that happens here as he is a critic like anyone else and can simply state his own opinion in my forums unless i block which i wont
