What's better (bishop+knight) or (knight+knight) or of what it depends?

Bishop are usually prefered but it depends on the activity of the pieces. Bishop and knight can also have a foced checkmate whereas two knights cant

Interestingly enough, while a Bishop is usually stronger than a Knight, a Queen+Knight is usually stronger than a Queen+Bishop... because the Q+N don't block each other.

The knight is my favorite piece. He can be such a dick.

Typically, weaker players (sorry, but it's true!) will favor the Knight, while stronger players will favor the Bishop.

Ask a GM which piece he likes best, and he'll probably reply "The one that delivers mate".

true. all the weak players will tell that they prefer knights.

Discussions of overall effectiveness aside, the knight is just a cool piece. It looks cool and it's unique among all chessmen.

You have to really be on your toes and paying attention when a knight's around.
