In my opinion it's a waste of time to not do endgame puzzles when blindfold. The best is to have a puzzles which uses most of the pieces. If there is a lot of pieces that contribute to the puzzle then you can

blindfold's always benefitial. It could just be a waste of time and effort to keep saying all the pieces if they're doing nothing
I take blindfold puzzles for my son. If while or black has 10+ pieces, he struggles. For 1700 or 1800 rated player on chess.com with 2900 puzzle rating is that normal?
