Greetings everyone,
A month ago, I decided to start a blog series here on the site, entitled "Musings of an Intermediate Player," in which I have been writing about chess from my own perspective.
Now, I know many people have already started blogs here, and in all honesty, I don't think I'm anything special. I'm just your average, intermediate-level player. My hope is that that is exactly what will attract your attention, because I am capable of providing a relatable, fun perspective on a topic which we all have in common.
Once a week, I publish a "Game of the Week" from my own game archive, with some brief commentary and my own analysis. I also occasionally publish posts about my perspective on issues (and non-issues) of the chess world, such as resignation and sportsmanship.
I would be honored if you are interested enough to follow my blog, which you can find here: https://www.chess.com/blog/intermediate-musings. On every single post, I welcome any and all feedback you may have. Leave a comment; raise a concern; ask a question; give feedback on my games--anything.
I would also welcome it if you have any suggestions on topics you would like to see me write about. Please feel free to message me any time, or post your suggestion below!
I'm not a master or a patzer (at least, I don't think so
); I'm a normal player just like you, and I hope you'll give me the opportunity to share with you, and to have some intelligent discussions in areas where we all relate.
Sincerely,
Isaac
