Sigh!! Lola, why? Do you know at the other thread ( Benoni From black's Perspective) they have four title players making comments and a lot experts and 1800 elo and 1900 elo making their contribution to this thread and it is a friendly debating. Here it is one opinion only and basically if you hate Fischer , you are Lola best friend list. Fischer almost had his way, he had 179 demands going through and only one was deny and FIDE really wanted Fischer to play and also FIDE ignore Karpov and Soviets; why was Fischer able to get through his 178 demands if the FIDE were listening to Karpov because Karpov a small potatoes. The Philippines was willing to have a five million dollar world champion match, and no world champion was ever offer that much ever.
Bobby Fischer Lacked Creativity ?....How Dare I !
Back then, The Philipinnes (why does that look spelled wrong) had hardly ever even seen that much $ !....let alone put it up for a whoopteedo event like a chess showdown !
Have you ever been to The Philippines ? Me neither, but you need to understand their level of poverty. And then we can go from there.
Now, I want you to sit down and have a sweet. A peanut butter cup, some pie, a red licorice....something. And then we can talk 'cuz you need to calm down....calm down right now.
Lola, I am calm and very calm. It is obvious you have not read much on Fischer, you would know of the Five million dollar offer the match on 1975. Fischer basically was his worst enemy, he alone destroy his life and refuse to play because one lousy demand; he was a control freak. Fischer had great saying, " You have to give squares to get squares". Unfortunately Fischer a great chess genius but could not compromise even it meant wealth and fame; every demands was too precious to him. You have to understand Fischer a king in chess and he felt he could demand and subordinates will obey. You might like this but every world champions had their demands and most it was adhere to; why should not Fischer's demands not be met?
'cuz he wasn't the WC when he freaking lost it regarding his demands as a challenger !....that's why Blurry Yuri.
I would like to see the $5 MM the islands were gonna put up. I would really like to.
Lola, hint, maybe that is why Karpov wanted to play Fischer even after the default, five million dollars is a lot money, even more in 1975; of course one the conditions is Karpov still world champion, I can see why Fischer said, "NO!"
BF memorized chess 'cuz it was memorizable....so knock it off. And pleez stop confuzing memory w/ creativity. It's making you look dumdum.
And may I remind you ?....they say BF was always known in the upper echelon of chess as being a memorizer. And that's why we have computers who play so strong in the opening and 7-piece endgames. 'Cuz computers memorize....they don't create anything.
Does this sound like someone you know ? It does to me.
And here I thought that this thread was dead.
I have to hand it to you, Lala. You do come up with some very creative nonsense. Is this a natural or an acquired skill?
To say that a player, any player, can (or did) memorize chess - now that's what I call going full-retard. But go full-retard like, so much it's not even retarded anymore... just beyond. Beyond like being able to memorize chess. Which is impossible. But then, your retard level is impossible too! Yet you're here, writing these things... I'm amazed. Cheers! Inform us when you pick another player to defecate your hate on. You must smell so bad.
So Bobby's Queen sac and subsequent mating net in the so-called " Game of the Century " was something he memorized from another game ?

Harvey the great, its acquired skill and Lala memorize it, no creativity at all, she like a computer like Bobby.
BF memorized his moves of his very limited repertoire of opening choices. Not only that, he connived wayz to steer the game into his familiarity - and got away with it. IOW's, BF was the undisputed king of memorization.
Why do you think he said chess was dead and played out ?
EM says it below w/ eloquence. His memory served him very well. Give any GM added time during the middlegame and they'll get to you everytime. So, if he was creative in any way, it was his abiility to figure this out before others did. And yet, it had nothing to do w/ his creativity over the board.
Bobby Fischer started off each game with a great advantage: after the opening he had used less time than his opponent and thus had more time available later on. The major reason why he never had serious time pressure was that his rapid opening play simply left sufficient time for the middlegame. - Edmar Mednis
Think you beauzeaus....Think !
This is what BF said after his win over Spassky.
....chess is completely dead. It is all just memorisation and prearrangement. It’s a terrible game now. - Bobby Fischer
Do you ever wonder why he said this ? Think you village id10tz....Think !
There you go Lola! So Bobby's Queen sac and subsequent mating net in the so-called " Game of the Century " was something he memorized from another game ? No answer to that, right?

BF was unofficially a WC....for literally about one day. Max Euwe already knew that to put together another WCC w/ BF as champion would be impossible 'cuz BF needed full control of the event. And I mean full. IOW's, BF had forgotten that he was a small french fry in a very large field of Mr. Potatoheads (Russia).
So, as a consequence, they say that Dr. Euwe knew this and had already planned for BF's departure....before he even won ! Also, Fridrik Olafsson (the Icelandic FIDE President from 1978-1982) was instrumental in orchestrating the transition period for world class chess....that they so accurately predicted. They knew BF was gonna huff off.
Olafsson had the energy where Dr. Euwe was burnt out from years of BF's routine hissy-fitting. BTW, Olafsson handled the 1972 match as underhelp so fantastically well that he was voted in for Secretary to the Icelandic Parliment later on.
IOW's, he had bigger potatos to fry and he was the Icelandic sea salt needed to run BF outta the game....once & 4all.
And BF wasn't in long enuf to truly prove himself anywayz.
These are the facts. Now, you're gonna need to come to a full grip w/ reality. And you are ever so lucky that reality is patient....I'm not !
