Hi there.
I've reached a rating of 1600 here, at chess.com. Since then, i thought that i needed to add new knowledge to my chess, so i started to search for chess books.
The only book i've read so far is Pachman's Modern Chess Strategy, which brought out of the beginner level and with practice i've reached here, but in my search for books for my level, i felt that every single one that was recommended as was just repeating information that i've already seen before. I have a good opening knowledge, i'm not the best at endgames but i know pretty much what i need to know, but then the middlegame... most of the time i lose because i do moves that feel obvious. I was wondering if i had to start to evaluate and calculate my moves more often or something like that.
Could someone with some sort of experience help me in that aspect? I would be grateful.
