I know, I know... this looks crazy. Or is it? surprise.png

1. Simple to play against literally any set-up.

2. Quick, can basically semi-premove.

3. It has the psychological advantage against the opponent like playing the Bongcloud. (except this is pretty decent and can actually lead to quick attacks.

it's not that crazy, share your opinions.

I like the concept, but I'm not so sure about this particular setup with c3 and Qa4, as from personal experience I feel that having a misplaced queen is more of a liabilty in bullet.

Thanks, everyone.

That's true, but the queen doesn't really get attacked that much or trapped. Maybe not good for hyper bullet but seems effective in 1+0.

There's one hyper-bullet for you!

Even more effective against those who premove "indian" set-ups with g6.

And one more, against someone very strong. This is my new bullet favorite!

It looks very suspicious to me. In the first game you linked, your queen on a4 filled no purpose for most of the game. I also agree with @vajolet07 that the queen being exposed is a liability when playing bullet. Maybe 1.c3 and 2. Qc2 would be better? That way, you could support your kingside push

Iceflake07

I think Qc2 is worse - one of the points of Qa4 is that it supports g4. However, I tried the opening in a few bullet game, and scored something like 1.5/5, so I'll probably stick to 1. d4 2. Bh6 tongue.png (jk)
