Recently I bought a 25"(square) chess board from wholesale chess in order to let people in my community to try and beat me in chess. I collaborated with my county's library to raise money for new books. I go to a different park every Thursday from 10am-3pm with my big chess set and a sign saying - "Play me in a game of GIANT chess! If I win, donate a dollar so we can raise money for new books at our libraries!"
So far I have donated 5000+(the board was obviously worth the buy) It seems I've sparked everybody around me's interest.
So my question is - Any ideas on how to fundraise using chess?
