Over-the-board bullet chess has more lenient rules due to the physical limitations imposed by the extraordinarily short time. It's unreasonable to expect players to never accidentally touch any pieces they don't intend to move, when you have 3 seconds on your clock.

I had a quesiton about bullet chess, specifically OTB. If someone knocks over a piece, do they have to move the piece before they press the timer? Also, is the other person allowed to move a piece before the other presses the timer? I don't know what the rules of bullet over the board are and was just curious what the specifics are for the format when playing over the board. Thank you!
