They adjusted Tactics Trainer in the last month several times and you might be able to get your rating over 2000 without any difficulty. You should just try 50 or so problems and see what happens.

For a while in May, many people were losing hundreds of points in a day. You should have heard the moaning and groaning.
Then the first fix allowed some people to gain hundreds of points in a day. Those same people who had lost so many points were now much happier. https://www.chess.com/forum/view/general/what-s-up-with-tactics-trainer
Some people suggested that the "rating" points weren't really a very good reason do thousands of puzzles. Some people thought that learning about tactics was the point.
Chess.com finally made another set of adjustments which seems to have leveled things out.
