Can chess grandmasters defeat chess supercomputers?

 But all this supercomputer beating GMs is under tournament rules right? It may not be desirable, but what are your thoughts on a GMs chances of winning an unorthodox game of 10 minutes? Since the Sc has all that processing power, a longer game might level the playing field a bit

No way.  Google "Stockfish elo".  The answer comes back at around 3500.  Even Magnus Carlsen is 700 odd points lower.  Then factor in that Google's Alpha Zero crushed Stockfish in a 100 game match.  Then there is the psychological factor that a computer never gets tired, hungry or demoralised.
