Offensive? Do you read my profile? Pure USA & China (English and Chinese) (I have students in China as well - Most here in USA however in China too)
1. China locks down internet to which all know this for certain apps ...
2. I never really thought of this question until a parent ask me to which I thought you know ... I am not sure if they all have to use VPN for this app or not ...
Very good question I posed actually ... offensive is you not taking time to research the details and knowing all facts of person of post and or question therein ~

Yes, Chinese mainlanders can use both this and lichess without any problems. And considering the current world champion is Chinese....

Yes I’m Chinese and I have just visited my family their recently. I can assure you that this question is not offensive and quite good, as China blocked YouTube, Insta, etc. But chess.com is not blocked

@Gottfried94 and @Wakizashi14 ... Hi ... I check my stats within insights and found I have played China 
seventy two (72) times. Remember too, there is time difference, by such since I have an international business along side teaching chess as well three other ventures ... my hours are then all over the map and when I can play it tends to be later in the eve thus catching perhaps China's time ~
This app is a joke!! 80% of players with a 150 rating (a fkin joke) knows every perfect counter attack move for 20 different strategies and can remember 1000s of possibilities to make the perfect move every single time across almost a dozen matchups, but yet they’re all still have less than a 150??? Lololol not a 1500… a 150 lololol ANYONE LIKE TO EXPLAIN

More so as other stated in your other post your chess play is worst than a kindergarden level, who needs to know every perfectc attack when you arent even posing a threat. I suggest you study chess and lay off the post and rants ... at least in here so we dont waste our time with concepts that make sense.
