Can I have my rating readjusted

I had two games on the go against atlantischess when he got banned. As I got the win in both games my stats now say that my best win was against a 2550 player. This is obviously not true as I didn't win. Is it possible to have my rating and best win put back as it was ?

That may be asking a lot as the information is probably gone. You could always make a note of it on your profile though.

If the site kept a separate record of Best Checkmate/Resignation Win and Best Timeout Win, the issue would not arise.

Or, if everybody could choose his own best win, the game he's most proud of,  totally subjectively, of course.

I had a similar situation and the site did readjust my best win. No moves were made and the player timed out, so rating was not affected.

It's more the best win than the rating, I know that will level itself out but the best win is there for good. (certainly in my case)

Exactly. I hate my best win, against a 2100. He blundered a piece on move 6 and resigned. I've played much better games than that.
