Can I reset my rating to beginner?

I started my chess.com journey with immediate rating but now I think I should from beginner or newbie to chess.

Can I do it?

I'm not sure, but you can ask a moderator or staff member. 

I don't think you need to reset your rating though. As you play more games, your rating will adjust more to your playing strength.

No, you can't reset your game ratings. Just play some games and you'll quickly get to the appropriate rating based on the way the rating system works.

Wouldn’t that be a sort of sandbagging?  Or something similar for sure.

I want to change my rating to beginner too, so I can try for a 100 game win streak!!!!!

Those juicy tournament trophies would be a bonus, then.
