Can I take back resignation?

It happened to me that I should play a little more before resining.Is there an option to rectify it.?

Yes, offer a rematch and do better next time.  Else accept the consequences of irretrieveably giving up.

ps.  Unless, your opponent refused to accept your resignation.  In that case, you're free to play on.  I think on this site there is not that flexibility though.
