tell me about it...
It is to prevent stalling. It can be annoying if you have a very bad connection and are trying to play.
I remember when I was playing classical on my old account, it was bullying me to make a move or get flagged. Whoever programmed this is quite frankly a moron. No offense
I can feel y'all but, if you see the bigger picture, you will feel that it's for good. A few might suffer, but majority of people get benefits from this.
How it is good to be told to make a move or you will be flagged in classical? The time control is there for you to have a thought about your position and it forces you to play blitz lol
You should be able to play a good classical game unless you disconnect. If you are online and simply thinking about your moves, you won't have a time limit.
The feature can be annoying if you need to think for a long time on move 4 for whatever reason, as there is a countdown for the first few moves.

Thats exactly why I play classical. For me problems might start even with first move haha. I like creative chess
Why CC defaults your game when you have maybe 1-2 minute connectivity issue with 7 minutes remaining?
