ok if black plays completely random moves like a 3 year old kid you can win. I can win too

You're wrong.

That was also a draw.

They're all draws.

If you think there was a mistake, tell me which move.

You have to master this one before you'll be able to win the position you've been posting about

Here is a quote from the lesson White now wins easily: If 1...b3 2.Kf4 followed by Ke5 and f5-f6. Or 1...Ke7 2.Kg5 and then f5-f6. Or 1...bc 2.bc Ke5 3.Kg5 Ke4 4.f6, etc. White either queens the g-pawn, or, if Black tries to stop it, White can give it up (classic outside passed pawn strategy) to mop up the Black queenside.

"White now wins easily"!!!! So they are lying???? white does not win? its a draw?

Hey, lets take it one post at a time. You said the moves in that game were like a 3 year old. You have to tell me which moves you mean so I can try to find better ones.

But I tried it a million times, and I always get the 2 bishops vs 2 bishops draw.

I've run several variations on the position.  Here is one of them.  Doesn't look too easy for someone at my level.

it would be easy if i could play custom positions on PC so I could show you the games, but chess.com doesn't allow that. So i will have to play the game on my phone. then copy it to my PC, which will take a long time. But ill work on it next week. I need to go to sleep now but Ill spend my whole next week copying these games from my phone to my PC, any maybe someone here can tell me what I'm doing wrong

It was already explained to you, multiple times.

even when the king is on the far right edge of the board he gets a queen side pawn promotion before me...

Cherub_Enjel

Just play 10.Kb4 Kd3 11.Kxa4 Kc2 12.Kxb3 - Done.

Lol I'm very tired today tongue.png

Sorry.. better is 7.Ke6 Kg5 8.Kf7 and then Kxg7 or f6, and you will promote one of those pawns.

The game you show deviates from all the examples that were given to you, not the least of which came from the chess.com lesson itself. You must play f6 to create a passer to decoy the black king.

4.f6 wins
7.f6 wins
7.Ke6 wins

The majority of posts ignore 1...Ke5, probably because the Post 1 diagram doesn't mention it (strange because it's the first move my old engine, Fritz 9, makes).  White can win, but it has its pitfalls.  Note that 14. Qxc2 is stalemate.

Yeah, I saw you mention it earlier, I agree white has a lot of room for error. It's not an elementary position.

Darylprater

ive managed to win a few times now. but white does not win easy...

DavidHHH
White wins easily on the queenside where white has two connected pawns. Black will eventually move the king away from f6 and then white king will go to g5, then white f6 etc.
