That happens :/
Can we STOP people from STALLING?

I block the stallers, we should all do that then eventually they'll never get a game....
Good idea, but I don’t know if this will reach everyone and everyone would block them. But I like what you’re thinking, although naturally the best choice is to report them as well.

Report them for what?
Stalling. Please read the first message on this thread
@HiramHolliday is a troll. Down vote their posts and report accordingly. Hopefully it will be gone soon.

I've learned not to let it annoy me. People only stall if they're seriously butthurt because you've destroyed them with your chess skills. I view it as a backhanded compliment.
I played a master the other day. I did an attack on my castle which looked like forced mate in 3. I did a long think and found a way out. Nothing was said during the game, but I feared he thought I was stalling. If I failed to find an escape, it would look that way. I found it though. After the game, he told me he had not considered that move.
If you don't like stallers but do like longer gamee, I think the best bet is longer increments and shorter start times. Maybe 7/20 instead of 15/10. Maybe even delays instead of increments. 7/10/10 start, delay, increment. Delays will train people to not blitz out the first 10 moves of a long game.

Good idea, I’ll take that on board.

What does 7/10/10 mean ? 7 minutes 10 sec increment and 10 sec forced between each move ?

Just about everyone of my last 10 or so games I won, the opponent abandons instead of resigning.
I also had 3 players do so as soon as their scholars mate failed.
Last game the opponent was down to king and queen, and I pinned the queen. Opponent let the timer run down to 15s from 2+ mins before moving hoping I had left the screen or something.
i have two daily games against a good player that are totally lost for him. No resignation in either. [...] I think there may be 1 or 2 other games in the section for the tournament we're in, after they end, he'll be holding the whole thing up.
At this point these are the last two games in the section... aargh... I suppose I shouldn't mind - if he gains a bunch of points while stalling us all, the wins will be worth more... hope he doesn't tank a bunch of games... again, aargh...
