CANNIBAL 37 update #3

Well boys and girls, things are proceeding ahead of schedule. We are nearly COMPLETE with the 37th version of our chess program. Only another week and we'll start it against FRITZ in 2 TOURNEY time games. We're putting the finishing touches on the minimax algorithm. Minimax is MINIMIZING the MAXIMUM loss of material or position or WHATEVER it is you're trying to minimize. It is commonly used in chess program development.

Yesterday I tested it in its 4th series of 50 1 minute games vs. Chessmaster. Here is a recap of the FINAL scores:

Series #1 15-18-17      23.5-26.5

Series #2 13-23-14     20-30

Series #3 16-20-14     23-27

Series #4  21-14-15     28.5-21.5

We are very pleased. But one minute games are just that..one minute games. The REAL test comes in the form of two 40/120 (40 moves in 120 minute) games.

As the resident graphic designer, I have created the artwork for this program. This is the first time any graphical representation of this program has been done because we dont advertise it or sell it or distribute it. It isnt stored in a box or anything like that, so there was no need. I was bored, so this is what I came up with. You all had better like it, seeing I spent a few hours designing it.

Yeah, that is pretty cool. But you should stop making long rants, and you'll be popular.

thats cool, your program is probably good, and if you stop making rants , you might actually become liked. but only if you give up on the "cheating thing".

Hey mr. DUBROW...aren;t you supposed to be DEAD? Anyway, give it your BEST SHOT. Pull out ALL the stops. I have taken every single step and then some to protect my IDENTITY. I have stacked firewalls, I have IP randomizers. I have false accounts and false names at every turn. My REAL name doesn't even exist with AOL. I used an alias to get my internet service so even if you got AOL to cough up my IP address and real name (they only do that if a federal crime has been or will be committed), you'd be sent down a dead end road.

I'm quite safe from ANY attempts by ANYONE to find out who I am.

I tracked that kid. Turns out SHE'S the mother of Cheater_1. She's the black sheep of the family because they think she has an eating disorder.

My, you do love your fonts. But it is good of you to take in illegal fonts, it shows you do have a heart, risking prison by aiding and abetting such lawless letters.

You'll get a better understanding of the minimax algorithm if you read this explanation, or anything else by someone that has successfully programmed a computer to play chess.
