Carlsen Loses Two Games In A Row!

Was that Anand who kept shouting "In your face, Carlsen!" at the press conference yesterday?

Surprising behaviour from the usually very modest and polite Anand I thought.

Thanks Shivsky, that's exactly what I was referring to.

"Was that Anand who kept shouting "In your face, Carlsen!" at the press conference yesterday?"

What are you talking about?

Sorry, that was a joke.

The idea of Anand celebrating in any demonstrable way seems very unlikely.

Ok. Well, I'm thinking of him more like dancing alone in his room or something :)

Could be! And maybe he's got a picture of Magnus on his dartboard and it's riddled with holes

I like the idea of Anand mouthing off at Carlsen's press conference like Mr T shouting at Rocky in "Rocky III"

Probably never happen though Frown

Anand still celebrating, just not as much

Carlsen's next two opponents are Nakamura and Mamedyarov. I predict he will lose at least one of his next two games.

Amen.

If Anand (somebody liked by everybody and considered a gentleman) knew all that you are posting, he would be dissapointed.

The way that most of these Carlsen/Anand/whoever threads develop into personal mudslinging matches after a few posts never ceases to amaze me. I always thought Chess was a game for people with a certain basic intelligence and education.

Intelligence and education have nothing to do with decency and common sense.

That is the most insightful statement I have ever heard. Would you mind if I used it in my work?

this was a post saying carlsen lost 2 games in a row, i don't understand why people are using this to compare anand and carlsen.....

One of the great things concerning chess is that it reminds all of us who think we are intelligent that we are not that intelligent. It is a very humbling to understand that all of us make errors and get blown off the board.
