Does anyone know what Carlsen's approximate rating will be following the WCC in Chenai?

FIDE's site that he is still 2870 and that neither he or Anand have played any games for this months ratings change. It make me ask the question, do we have to wait til next month from FIDE to see the changes ? and do the WCC games count toward ratings ?

They do count. Official ratings are posted monthly, but since Carlsen will not participate in London, he won't have any new games till the next rating list. 2700chess makes live ratings that take into account all games in-between official ratings.

He gains 2 rating points from this match.

You might think that beating the world champion 6.5 to 3.5 should be worth more than 2 points, but given their pre-match ratings of 2870 and 2775 the expectate score after 10 games was 6.3 to 3.7. The actual outcome was very close to the outcome expected based on their ratings, and so the ratings do not change much.
