Castle-ing not working

I'm a bit of a noob, but in the game I'm playing right now, I can't castle.  How does one castle on this site?

Move the king first, not the rook

In all of chess, not just this site, its not legal to castle if your king is in check, if it has already moved, or if it would pass across a "checked" square (just the king, it is OK to castle yor rook out of or through atttack).

I was in check. I knew you couldn't castle into or through check, but I thought you could castle out of it.  Thanks!
