[Mafia] May I respectfully remind whatever organisation controls Chess.Com that a King may not "Castle" after having been put in check. There are several "cheats" - including "clock sliding" or Time grabbing - being purchased that spoil it for the rest of us honest players.
The "Clock Sliders" is the name of my new Christian grunge band
"Time Grabbing" is the name of my new chess self-help book
He is only 1044 Standard, you may castle "after" you have been in check not duringcheck and not through check.
You will need the captain crunch decoder.
My wife has a Little Orphan Annie decoder ring. Will that work?
Is it that the king cannot castle anytime after check, or that a king can't castle if it had to move as a result of check.
In other words would blocking check with another piece or capturing the checking piece mean the king could castle later?
The rook can definitely castle through an attacked square, at least on chess.com
Yeah, it can do it in real OTB chess too. The only stipulation is that the king can't move into or through an attacked square.
And the checking history of the king doesn't matter. As long as it isn't currently in check, passing through or into check and neither the king nor the rook being used to castle have moved already.
