Unequal Timer Behavior (Last 20 Seconds)

In my recording, when the timer is under 20 seconds, it shows: 20 → → → … (which is normal).
But here’s the strange part:

If my clock is at and I move, the next move shows instantly (too fast to even see with eyes).
If my opponent is in the same situation, I can clearly see → holding for a noticeable moment.
This means the timer is working differently for me vs my opponent, which is not fair.

Unequal Timer Behavior (Under 20 Seconds)
While reviewing my recorded games, I noticed something unusual in how the timer behaves when it goes below 20 seconds.

Normally, the clock should display:
20 → → → … (which is expected).

However, I observed a difference between how my clock and my opponent’s clock behave in the same situation:

On my clock: If the time shows and I make a move, the display immediately jumps to so fast that it is almost invisible.
On my opponent’s clock: In the same case, the transition from → is clearly visible, with a slight hold.
This gives the impression that the countdown speed is not identical for both players in the final seconds. It might be a bug, lag, or display issue, but it definitely affects the fairness of fast games like blitz or bullet.

I’d like to know if anyone else has noticed this difference and if Chess.com can clarify whether this is intentional or a bug.

I recently tried to share my experience about timer and movement issues, but I noticed that my posts are being edited, with important parts removed.

If my genuine concerns and observations keep getting censored here, I will have no choice but to publish my video evidence on YouTube so that the full situation can be seen and openly discussed.

I believe players deserve full transparency, and I hope Chess.com will allow honest discussions without editing out the main points.

If you're post is edited by staff or moderators it will have a note about the edit.

That said, you're seeing lag, lag compensation, and/or disconnects.
