I find it strange that this topic (and its duplicate) haven't already been removed.

I find it highly unlikely that your opponent was cheating, and have posted my analysis below for you. But you really shouldn't go round accusing your opponents of cheating every time you hang your queen...

Your analysis is typical computer trash, where your interaction was just copypasting. Proof is the well-known old Stockfish bug- he gives 29.Ree1 a double question mark because after 29...Bc8 you have a (single) position repetition. In reality of course, 29.Ree1 is a good move which wins easily.

...so, what would you use to test if a player was using computer assistance? an abacus?

Stockfish @25 ply doesn't list 29.Ree1 in the first 5 choices, nor does Komodo 9 @21 ply, because of the repetition you mention. Houdini 4 @21 ply does, at second choice move. That accounts for one move out of 100...

He also misses several forced mates that any engine would have picked up on... you're not seriously suggesting that he was actually cheating, are you?

This game was so bad ( for both players ) I dont believe any engine would play such rotten moves ... it seems to me the paranoia over cheating is far worse than actual cheating is ...
