Checkmate by Castling

I once got a castling checkmate, but I was up 3 points. It was a queenside castle checkmate in the middlegame, his king was out in the open because i had pushed it there

This happened because my friend is new to chess:

Now I'm wondering what's the minimum amount of moves to get a mate by castling. I have the hunch that it can be achieved in 8 moves (because that's how many moves it takes for the white king to reach the 8th rank), but I'm having difficulties finding the moves.

Alas, I did get checkmate by castling a few years ago against a much lower opponent. I didn't realize it was an award until after I got it though.
