CHESS AS PEOPLEs GAME CHOICE.

I am from a country where there are no GM players yet. I do doubt wether our society enjoy or understand chess or not. because, chess in here did not get any media attention. We only have a few IM.Thats it.an average rating in every states is around 1500-1800NR. In effort to make the game more fun and enjoyoble and not a just a 'board' game that people thought were boring and hard..or it is just about moving the pieces..takes that..takes that..So, I want you guys to point out any ideas or some sort of plan so that people will play chess more and someday maybe we could have our very own first GM. Is it because the poor management of the organization or lack of tournaments organized or,we need a GM from India,Russia..etc .Help is appreiciated.
