They seem very useful for newer players and even just lower rated ones. After a certain point however, you begin to see that they don't really understand important higher level concepts.
Nonetheless, they should do a great job of teaching lower rated players to develop pieces and for how to look for attacks.

I don't really understand the difference between regular and coach bots. I played against one a few times and contrary from what I expected, it does not really 'help' or 'teach' midgame. It only seems to drop annoying feedback once a while. Can someone please explain their purpose and superiority as compared to other bots to me?
Does anyone find them to be helpful? I think they have a lot of potential. I wish they had them for much higher levels too like 2200-3000. It would be very instructive to see how their coaching changes. Or if even higher levels, maybe they can show how to beat Mittens or if there's like a Mittens Coach Bot...meow?
