chess.com app messaging problem

why the app is closing every after sending a message?
How to fix it? Is it because i am not a vip/premium user? Maybe not have full access of that featured? That's why you can message only once at a time?

Do you have the most current version of the app? I used to have that issue all the time, but I have since upgraded the app and haven't had trouble with it since.
