Yes. It's been a derrogatory racial slur since at least the 1970s or 80s.
It refers to a black person who has rejected their black history and culture and has signed on to the typical white, middle-class values.

It's going to get banned and you know it. Half the board is white, the white side has no diversity, it should have at least 50% black pieces.
