Here are some secrets of Chess.com:

1. Have you ever viewed the Community Policies? Actually, Chess.com has no way of detecting if someone is cheating or not. The only way Chess.com can find out if someone is cheating is if people report them for it.

2. Has anybody got all the awards? Well, you probably haven't got all the secret awards. You don't know how to get these awards until you get them. For example, if you give someone a diamond membership, you get the secret award "Generous". You can't see if someone has a secret award by looking in their profile.

3. This is a short one. Chess.com gets approximately 90% of their money from diamond members.

4. You can see your percentile and global number in the stats. Did you know that most of the time they are not true? Chess.com gives you false information so it won't discourage people from playing chess. For example, if your percentile is actually 30%, it says it is something like 60%.

5. Chesskid is a huge enemy of Chess.com. If Chesskid didn't exist, Chess.com would earn more than 2x the money. However, people who go to Chesskid are on average 200 rating points higher than Chess.com when they grow up.

6. Chess.com says there are mods than can close forums and punish you. That's a lie. It's just to prevent any inappropriateness. The truth is, Chess.com can't afford to have mods looking around in forums all the time.

One more secret...NO ONE CARES

abbinignanti

no, noone really cares. but this is interesting: what is your site for phone? I received the message but the rating is the same and the iPhone site has not changed. do you still think that I have not passed the age of development? are you sure it's not your problem?
