How on earth do you play blitz on your Iphone, David, if it does not support basic responsiveness?
Also, this site is full of plenty of bugs. For example when you comment on an article it refreshes it automatically but instead of leaving you in the same place of the spinner, as a normal site-page would behave, it doesnt and you need to scroll down again. Another thing is, when you open chess com in another page then it tells you "another login has been detected" or something like that. But then when you press 'ok' it takes you back to the login screen even if you are playing now a game. Seriously? There are a hell lots of bugs on this site that really make it look pathetic.

Sorry to hear about your experience. I'm obviously a very active member (and player) and don't have any of the same issues. Are you using desktop? Mobile browser? Mobile apps? I use them all and don't have these issues, but I'd love to hear how/what you are using to access Chess.com.
(Oh, and thanks for pointing out the issue with posting a comment - yes, that looks like it broke. I just put in to have it fixed.)
When playing correspondence games, even with the time control 1 day/move, it doesn't depend that much on the good/bad/not so good Internet connection.
Is the OP going to open his own site? OP is very knowledgeable concerning 'bugs' and how easy they are to fix.

Dont confuse an online rating with your real ability. Im new here, and none of my online ratings reflect my real ability. Its an online rating which doesnt really mean much IMO.

I only play on my iPhone drunk and high and have no prob dude. You must have a bad iPhone because everyone plays drunk and high right!

Best comment ever. Ill take some warm milk too pleasel. Yeah I am sorry dude, but your complaints just sound like you suck in general in my eyes. I live in a 3rd world country and believe me when I say our internet is years behind the rest of the world... and yet I dont complain about rubbish like you do. Sure sometimes I get issues with the lag and so on... But no matter where you go its the same... not because the site sucks but because internet in general is and i predict always will be iffy at times. Get over it and play some chess

I have cheap, relatively poor DSL service and my connections to chess.com are always fine.
Now, I know all the trollers are about to jump on this forum and say "he your connection sucks blah blah blah" . Now before you come to ask "some"... the answer is NO! My connection sucks only on this site probably because this site is built on a very old program. And it is to heavy for transmission. I don't know what programmers does this site hold but they seem to suck too. I mean, have you ever tried to operate it on smartphone? Be it Android or iphone? They can't even implement it to be responsive? I mean, give me a break. It is basic programing. And the live games on smartphone? suck as well. I mean it sucks big *(&$. And I don't care to be banned. Something has to be done if chess com & nakamura want to feel that they have any monopol or superiority in the world of chess sites. Grow the hell up, and dont hire amateur freelancers as your employees. Jesus *&#%ing christ.
[Please don't make it obvious what profanities are intended, as that's pretty much the same as using the actual profanities themselves, which is against the Chess.com Terms of Service - I have amended them in your post above, as well as the thread title from "Chess com sucks".
I play a fair bit of 3 minute blitz on my iPhone using the app, and although it's a hassle in a time scramble, I think that's just the touch screen interface being more cumbersome than a mouse.
