no lichess is a app for chess players but chess.com is a app for money and btw cheat detection is AMAZING so probably ur saying because u cheated or u lied
What are you talking about? The same happened to me and I did not even cheat! I have to disagree with you.
Why does it have to be a contest? Just enjoy both! 
For my needs, Lichess suits me more. I can create studies and use the opening explorer of master, other, and my games. I'm surprised chess.com doesn't allow this. I have heard that chess.com is better for the Holy Gambit Grail as it will be able to find all your games you won with a certain gambit.

Chessdotcom does allow this. I use it often. The difference is that Lichess includes the aggregate of all Lichess players, which is most useful when you want to study egregious errors. With chessdotcom, you can look at masters or at any specific player. The site more than likely is too large for what Lichess does. Lichess has maybe 5% as many games.
Lichess studies is a terrific feature wholly lacking at chessdotcom.

Comparisons are useful, but I agree with you. Both sites have their merits. That’s why I’m a premium member here and a patron there.

Their master database is much better and I also like looking at what other players are playing in certain positions. The Holy Gambit Grail is a lot easier to prepare on Lichess when you can see what other opponents have played and try to find traps to win with horrible gambits
