I once lost some rating in a tournament and lost rating on chess.com. I also played a 48 acuracy (idk how to spell that word) and won

I'm having an existential crisis about whether I'm qualified to lead my school's chess club/help coach my teammates on the chess team. I've been dealing with that for the past year or so, and it's so much fun

Back when I still drank alcohol and played otb tournaments I used to drink booze during my games about 50% - 60% of the time. The % went way up the closer we got to the end of the tournament.

I once thought I was too late to start but there were legends who started at my age and even decades later.

I was so close to beating a CM at a norm tourney I though I threw so I walked away and was mad then the CM came and said "Bro your still winning" embarrassing (I went on to win Road to CM)

I raged for 10 minutes straight last week because I made the wrong move in a 13 move sequence that Stockfish found.
I resigned because I thought I blundered when it was a brilliant move
