ok, 5 things to consider:

1. the white square goes at the rigth hand.

2. whites move first.

3. Learn how to play, both the players on the video barely knew how to move the pices, and both of them play like at 500 level.

4. It is "check mate" not "chess mate".

5. It was not a check mate, the queen can cover.

Is there some sort of curse that when chess is bring to the screen, even a home made vidoe, the game makes not sence at all?

If yo udo some research for your videos, the quality will improve lots.

Jokes are intentional, and the porpuse is to make people laugth.

This mistakes I pointed out have not intention or porpuse, all they are is the result of some slaking on the produccion and the ignorance of the basics of the game.

The sad about this is that it is not so dificult to get it rigth. At leas the mistakes I pointed out.

I mean the youtube chanel is some guys who want to make it into the movie industry. So the videos on the chanel are their portfolio. Where they are out to show how talented they are, and get investors to pay them some better productions.

I am not going to talk about all the problems of the video, from a cinematic point of view, becouse this is a chess forum. So I just pointed out the lack of care to the details they show when come the chess sequence.

If you where an investor with 3 millions dollars looking for a movie to put your money in, and they show you this video so you see how their work is... would you invest in this guys? how much would you put on them?

I understand your point.

Consider that when I write down something in a profecional enviroment I have all this things propertly checked.

In other words if I was writing a review of the video with the porpuse of showing it as an example of my work, wanting to be hire as a columnist, or movie critic or whaever. I would have produced a different document and the spellchek and all that stuff would have being take care off.

What you read here is the first draft, the brainstorm. No the pulished and finely worked product.

And I am not willing to spend time editing a forum post to a publishing material quality.

I had work on some videos before, I know what it is and what it takes, I am telling you if this video presented here was some guys having fun and posting stuff on youtube, then everything goes and everything is OK. But if their intention is to sell themself as film makers then they seriusly need to review a lot of the things they are doing in those videos.
