Chess Evolution, a new Centaur federation?

I posted a thread about USCF and correspondence game, and it became a kind of forum for those who believe that using a computer is cheating. But now there is the term centaur, which describe the cooperation of humans with computers.

FirebrandX, a very soon ICCF IM, gave an important contribution, and explanations that those who didn't commit to chess, at such deep level, cannot appreciate.

I thought for few days upon the subject, and my understanding is the following. The chess federations are very slow in understanding where Chess, since it is a sport, is going, and consequently adapting the competitions.

I'd like to make an analogy to explain it better. If I run a marathon, this would be a chess player, I would accuse of cheating someone using a bike to do the same, and this is the centaur. But we all know that it is not cheating, but they are two sports, in which humans compete. So are the people using bikes cheaters, because they are not running?

And then we have the problem that if most of federations wouldn't be held for political power, instead of the interest in developing the sport, then we would have new sports from the original one, which was running or in this case chess.

So it would be time that chess federations, or new players, create a centaur federation, and see if such evolution of chess as a sport can become a chance for chess to be played by more people. This would be more productive, and interesting than the endless cheating debate, which goes nowhere.

Also chess.com, being a leader in the internet chess field, could develop a centaur section.

A closer analogy for centaur-chess might be drug-assisted sport. Few people deny that athletes can achieve greater feats when using drugs. Equally, most people are keen to maintain the separation in sport between drug-assisted athletes and non drug-taking athletes.

I believe there is another site, I cannot mention it otherwise chess.com moderators will censor my message, already has such system. The centaurs have a "(C)" on the side of their name, so chess.com lost the chance to be a leader in that field, and maybe they don't want to copy the idea.

Could you send it in a personal message? So at least I can try it, and see how it works.
